Second to None Tattoo - Killeen, TX

So this is not necessarily travel, but I wanted to share some pictures anyways. My tattoo artist was Gary Morton and he did a great job. He finished my cover up piece on my shoulder and made it look complete. He also gave me my free bird tattoo on my other shoulder. I went with a friend at the time you'll get a kick out of the tattoo she almost got!

Can you see the mistake? She and the artist reviewed the spelling prior to applying the stencil.
My face after I realized they spelled it wrong! HAHAHAHAHA
Correct spelling!!!!!
I used my phone front facing camera to watch Gary work!
I had to go back to fill in the leaves, but I really love how it turned out and I will definitely go back for more!!

The Blue Cat Cafe - Austin, TX

So I was checking out Groupon for new deals on things to do and I came across discounted admission to the Blue Cat Cafe. I thought the concept was so amazing and I had to go! The Cafe partners with the Austin Humane Society and brings adoptable cats to their facility. I drug my friend Melissa with me and we had a blast. I had a Caramel Meowcchiato and got to enjoy 11 cats roaming around the cafe. One of the employees said that 95 cats have been adopted since the opening in October 2015. The cafe also sells cat toys so I got Wyatt cat nip and he LOVED it. Chance was like WHATEVER!

Tiny Texas Houses

As time passes, I realize that my house may be way to big for my cats and I, but I absolutely LOVE my property! I have been researching the possibility of living in a tiny home. Today, I attended a tour at Tiny Texas Houses and got to actually see how it would be living in a small space. These tiny homes were completely salvaged and built beautifully. I am now even more excited to keep researching what option would best fit my needs and hopefully in the next year I can purchase a new mobile tiny home.

This was a 7 x 9 home, but it didn't seem that small. The space was utilized extremely well. I came to the conclusion I could easily live in 200 sq feet:)
This home was beautiful! It was 326 sq ft of living space on the 1st level then two connected lofts on the 2nd level. WAY TOO BIG for my needs!! LOL
My favorite! I loved the roof top deck and wrap around porch. It was 80 sq feet, but the decks made it feel so spacious.
Did you know you don't have to pay property taxes on homes if you build them below ground? Our tour guide was an interesting character:)
